Perceptible earthquake registered in Russia’s Kamchatka

The US Geological Survey said a magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula near the Pacific coast on Friday, noting that the deep tremor occurred 76 kilometers northeast of Ozernovskiy at a depth of 143 kilometers with no immediate reports of casualties or tsunami risk.
